Phillips Skookum Cascadian Brown Ale

From Victoria BC, Phillips brewing calls this the unofficial fuel of the cascadian revolution, big bold hop characteristics with a smooth rich maltiness.

This beer is another guilty pleasure. First of all it is big at 650 mls and 6.5%.

The head was good and the colour dark. The aroma is mildly bitter, and fresh.

The taste is smooth, but rich and caramelly, with just a slight bitterness. There is no problem finishing this bottle.

There is a slight aftertaste, which is very clean considering how flavorful the beer is.
