Cannery Brewing Naramata Nut Brown Ale

This beer is naturally brewed in small batches in BC’s Okanagan region.

The colour is strikingly dark. The head was healthy, but temporary.

The aroma is sweet and toasty, slightly sharp, and the taste is like soft caramel.

The aftertaste is surprisingly dry and vanishes as quickly as it came.

The best parts of this beer are the taste and the mouthfeel, and the harshest is the aroma as you go to take your next sip.

The taste is interesting, and satisfying. You won’t get the urge for another beer just as this one finishes. It is a great beer to choose if you want to wind down after a long day, or with dessert.

Cannery Brewing I.P.A.

Cannery Brewing has given us an excellent offering with their I.P.A.

A beautiful light copper colored ale with a rambunctious head that is very soft on the lips.

The aroma is very faint and welcoming, with a taste that has just the right amount of bite, and a hint of citrus.

The aftertaste is lingering and dry.

The rings stick to my glass very nicely.

Overall this is a great beer if you are having one, maybe two, and is strong enough in flavor to stay interesting.

Okanagan Springs 25th Anniversary Hopped Lager

Good persistent head
Clear brass colour
Mild citrus aroma
Slight bread smell
Smooth taste, delicious
Mild bitter aftertaste quits after a few seconds

I had it extra cold on this occasion, left it in the freezer for a little too long, but tastes great.

Excellent body, foam coats the glass and leaves perfect rings with each sip.
